These "autoclave resistant" stoppers are the same as our "rupture resistant" stoppers, but have NOT been pre-washed.
Customer (YOU) must wash and sterilize as required by industry standards depending upon the customer's end use.
The center of the stopper (where a hypodermic needle would pass through) is thicker than stoppers designed for powder applications. These stoppers resist rupturing during the autoclave process if crimped into a vial before sterilization.
